Im 14 and have bipolar and get REALLY bad anxiety. What i find helps is closing your eyes and thinking of something you enjoy, listening to music and even just reading. It seems to help me, im not sure if it will help you...
References :
The person that said distraction is right.. it helps..
I wish i knew something that helped mine i really do.
I just text someone that i know and trust.. it helps me out a bunch.
I just don't know how to help..there are things that make it less worse... and keep it away for a while... i just do not know...

I find it so funny I want to be a phycologist but yet i have no answers to the things that interest me the most
References :
Treating anxiety can not be a quick fix. It takes time and perserverence to successfully treat it and cope with anxiety. Some coping strategies for dealing with anxiety are doing something relaxing: take a walk, take a shower or bath, do deep-breathing, pray, journal, laugh, draw, doing something that will distract you for a bit.
