If so, what kind of minerals or vitamins can I take to help this problem?

I’m not recommending anything, although you just might want to do some research into B vitamins. I had really bad problems with nerves and not enough B vitamins were the issue for me. Stress drains your B’s. Overall, excellent nutritional health in every area will ensure that you are as calm and happy as possible. If that doesn’t do it, then you can look for other reasons. Sorry no link but there is a wealth of info on the net telling you which mineral or vitamin helps with which thing. Good luck!

Who do I see about my social phobia?

I have a social phobia which prevents me from getting a job. I am going to claim Disability living allowance but I need to see someone about my condition. I don’t know what to do or who to see.

I suggest you go to your GP who can give you advice on what to do from there. Which will most likely be a speicalist

CTRN Vanquish fear and anxiety program–have you used this program?
I heard about this program and I was thinking about trying it to get rid of my fear of snakes. I would do the in home program, not the one where you actually go in and see a specialist.

Has anyone used this program and does it actually work?

Fears of snakes is caused by your upbringing. So you can learn that your fears are only imagination.

How can a person with social anxiety make friends?

I have social anxiety which stems from being short. When i talk to people i feel they only see my height and won’t want to be friends with me.

While it might seem logical to find people who are closer to your height, that’s impractical given that at any point in time you may have to interact with others, either taller or shorter.

Actually as difficult as this sounds, I’m sure you have qualities not at all related to height, and should use those in expressing who you are. I also think it’s OK to politely remind others that not all of you is "short" in the sense of who you are and what you’re about.

You could also try to develop some friendships in a one on one basis letting that other understand that you have things to care about, share, and also again, try to develop some self confidence at your pace, that creates the obvious fact that you have value and worth, not connected to your height.

That might eventually ease you into a sense that just because you”re standing in a forest beneath a bunch of towering trees, you do have an "Axe".

P.A.C.E. for anxiety attacks (brain gym exercise)

This will calm you down, allowing you to focus on the task at hand. Saved me when I had panic attacks.
PACE stands for Positive, Active, Clear & Energetic.
E. Drink water
C. Brain Buttons: place one hand over the navel. With the other hand, massage the areas on either side of the sternum below the collar bone. Change hand (30 sec/hand)
A. Cross Crawl: Touch hand to opposite knee and vice versa. Do this SLOWLY for approximately 2 minutes. Move shoulders and breathe.
P. Hook Ups – Part1: Sit. Cross ankles. Stretch out arms, cross them and place palms together. Lace fingers and bring hands under and up to rest under chin. Close eyes, inhale through nose and place tongue on hard palette behind teeth. Drop tongue as you exhale. SLOW, STEADY breaths. Do as long as you want.
Hook Ups – Part2: Uncross ankles and arms. Lightly touch fingertips together with both hands. Close eyes, inhale through nose and place tongue on hard palette behind teeth. Drop tongue as you exhale. SLOW, STEADY breaths. Do as long as you want.

Slowly come back to reality and notice what your body feels.

How do I get over hypochonria/anxiety/depression?

I have a big problem with worrying about my health and getting serious illnesses like aneurysms and stuff and I am only 21. I also worry about going crazy. I worry my g/f is gonna cheat but she busts her ass to prove she won’t and there is no signs AT ALL of it. I always feel depressed b/c of this. I worry about a lot more than that too. What could I do to get over it?
