LEARN TO DEAL, IDIOT.
Try counseling, cognitive behavior therapy (recommended by experts getting people off benzos), take B-6, omega-3. Don’t drink alcohol to combat it. No sugar & caffeine.
Practice deep breathing & meditation. Until you’ve tried all of these things DO NOT SAY YOU NEED BENZOS TO DEAL WITH ANXIETY BECAUSE OF ALL OF THESE THINGS WORK.. I do them all and I DON’T NEED K ANYMORE.
It looks like you need counseling for anger management too.

It can cause derealization, blurred vision, heightened senses and muscle relaxation just like LSD but can do it with a small dose and those feelings can last for years even after stopping it. It’s very dangerous; don’t take it.

Klonopin – any benzodiazapine – is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. It can cause LONG TERM BRAIN DAMAGE. Stopping suddenly causes seizures, you must go off it VERY slowly! It causes more problems than it treats over time. Only 30% of US docs believe the horrendous withdrawals. It’s proven the withdrawal is WORSE THAN HEROIN WITHDRAWAL! Withdrawal symptoms can last YEARS. Don’t become one of millions! Do not take benzos longer than 2 weeks. If a doctor tells you to, find another doctor.

If you have been taking Klonopin for over 1 month, and have yet to experience any negative effects, just keep taking it for 5, 10 years, and you will join the thousands of people who have learned the hard way how these drugs were really meant to be prescribed. I admit, there is a place for some anti-anxiety medication; however, benzos were not intended for long term use. I ignored people’s comments – thought they were just bashing psych drugs too, trusted my shrink, then learned otherwise.

u know, I know it’s not a huge dose and others take 10-20mg/day and they would laugh at me because I’m scared at this dose, but I’m tend to raise it by myself.. once I did it. twice. dunno.
btw this hole thing is dangerous. I’m afraid that once I just wake up and realise, that I’ve lost control of this.

I’ve heard it’s hard to get off. What sould I expect, if my doc will say that: OK little girl, now we lower the dose. I’m afraid of it (I’m livin on 3,5-4mg/day, I’m 19 & 45kg).
And, even yesterday, I’ve found a forum, where one of the topics theme was: talk about benzo and opiate withdrawals – or sg like that. Why r they compered? Should I expect similar pain as the other kind of addicts feel at an opiate withdrawal? Or what the hell?!… I’m scared – rather not start withdraw in this case..

Im Still Suffering 6 Months Off Klon !! bad Decision by the Doc Presc me this med ! im so upset i got hooked on it for 18 months ! It Did me wrong an the withdrawl and tapering process is close to the feeling of dieing ! IT HURTS !! THUMBS DOWN IS MY VOTE !

Also eat healthy, exercise daily, positive healthy thoughts & habits. Do things that make your life better. Don’t take w/ caffenie or vitamins wait atleast 2-3hours after dose. No alcohol. The less you weigh the less you need. Get & stay healthy. Sorry but the bigger you are your probably going 2 need more to reach a threaputic level. Stay healthy, Get healthy. Enjoy life. Be responsible. This is a great tool if you use it correctly & do other good things for you life. Warmest Wishes.

Klonopin is safe & …
Klonopin is safe & very effective. It does not cure but will immediately make you feel better. Take on an empty stomach, I take 2-3mg once every other day. Only when I’m feeling I need to. If you keep taking everyday you will reach a tolerance & it will take stronger doses & eventually won’t work. This miracle “drug” has totally fixed my life. If you feel withdrawl when off than take half dose. Cycle low & high & take threaputic doses as needed. You can take this forever if you use it correctly.

crazy7, do not ever stop these drugs “cold turkey. abruptly stopping Klonopin can lead to irritability and even to seizures in some cases. should’ve been cut down to about 20% and keep the dose 4-5 days then cut another 20% to be affective for getting Klonopin out of your system. hopefully this was done.
tell your physician that you’re suffering with excruciating withfdrawals. if she, “won’t listen”, call around. no need to suffer substantiately. it makes anxiety worse.

I agree with you …
I agree with you completely. I hate it when people about psychiatric drugs. If it makes people feel better, then what is it hurting? They obviously dont understand what it’s like to have crippling anxieties, or else they’d shut the up. I’d rather be dead than have to live with my anxiety forever.
I take 20mg lexapro and 2mg klonopin everyday for anxiety and depression.

btw, I start my day with 2mg, and it lasts to late afternoon (but if I’m in a strange, ’scarry’ situation, I take one more from the 05. pill). sometimes I’m spinnin all the time, when I’m on that 2mgs. and in the afternnon, when I take the next 0.5 pill, I’m a bit depressed for an hour, after that – spinnin again. Why is that?

Haha, like your way of thinking. I’ve been taking Clonazepam for 10 years now, from 0.5mg X 2 / day to 3 mg X 2 / day ( now reduced to 1mg ) but shit, I can’t go lower, and I always thought I was some wacko to have your way of thinking.

I’m in w/d, Klonopin don’t work forever. It is hard to come off of. Only thing I can say is good luck once you hit tolerance, which you will, don’t expect the Doctor to understand cause they won’t! She doesn’t say nothing about how hellish the w/d is.
