Hi Julie I’ve been … Hi Julie I’ve been dealing with GAD for over 25 years. Of all the things I’ve learned on how to deal with it, heres one thing that can really help big time……..
” Stop Internalizing “. You must stop thinking of urself physically, mentally and emotionally. Alow urself to experience the outside world once again pay attention and love others, nature etc. Practice Mindfullness !! It really helps !!
@bashafacin The … @bashafacin The best thing you can do right now is yes see a doctor do not wait tell the doctor how you feel and be truthful of everything and a doctor will get you going on a medication that is right for you..every reply I have ever read on you tube and every experience I have ever heard someone with anxiety I have felt the same way. So you guys are not alone and yes there is help and solutions to this..
I just started … I just started having cronic anxiety. It all started last year when I drank too much. I had to go to the hospital and thought I was dying. It happened again when I was at work. So now I anticipate going to work and dread having an attack there, or when my wife goes to work, I feel like im going to die and never see her again. When I have these attacks all these thoughts run through my head and I cant stop them. If it doesnt go away I plan on going to the doctor soon.
@superjtrdr yeah … @superjtrdr yeah just send me a email I listed it with in the comments and I will be happy to chat with you instant messanger anytime.. It helps to chat.. I also have a face book.. just search Mike duke and you will find me.
@natjaa Well with … @natjaa Well with anxiety its kinda like your brain is broken ( it is not broken just using for example) when you discover you have anxiety your brain has learned something new and its a very crapy sort of new. So you have to get back to the way you were before anxiety and you do this with medication just like a broken leg and you may go through thearpy just like a broken leg. And just like your broken leg will heal your anxiety will heal as well..
@natjaa Yes I agree … @natjaa Yes I agree medication is not the answer.. I look at it like this lets say a person brakes their leg they wont be able to get up and go for a jog or a walk. They must go through a healing process and wear a cast and take pain medication and in some cases thearpy..
Last week I was … Last week I was almost to the point where I needed to be hospitalized because I was having trouble breathing. Thats why I started seeking others online. Right now its the people at work that have me terrified. Yes I suffer from depression to but it doesnt bring me to the breaking point like the approval seeking anxiety
thanks for replying
You know that … You know that saying nothing to fear but fear itself? that is so true with anxiety it is a fear of fear and the more you fear the more fear will be there.A friend once told me ” Mike turn your eyes around quit looking at yourself and focus whats in front of you” and when I heard that it was like a light switch went on and it calmed me down and with a little work and self talk and some medication I got it under control and I never thought I ever would.
@BlinkinFirefly … @BlinkinFirefly Listen to you doctor, and talk with your doctor let him or her know exsactly how you feel they will get you on the right track. And you will defeat anxiety it just takes a little time.
@MTBMANIAC1 That … @MTBMANIAC1 That drove me to think so many funky thought I wanted to crawl under a rock and just cry…I know everybody is different and everybody deals with anxiety or depression in their own way but bottom line is we have the same sympthoms and we are trying to figure it out. I have no magic solution and I really don’t think pills or any other drugs are the answer

@superjtrdr @ … @superjtrdr @superjtrdr I know exsactly what you are going through and it is not nonsense. You are dealing with anxiety and if I may guess you have some depression? they a lot of times go hand and hand. I used to think the same way how do other people think of me or does my presence make them feel weird or will they like me or dislike me.
this video made me … this video made me cry, im 23 and had a break down, relapsed twice into depression before I got diagnosed with GAD.nobody understands if they never go through it.the only way i describe it is you wake up first few seconds your like its a new day then a wave of worry takes over, worrying like that is a living hell, even when I dream I worry!!! everything you said is totally right, thank you so much for this post meant a lot x
Great post … Great post MTBMANIAC1
“not to feel guilty about how people think of you or who likes or dislikes”
Yes, the approval of others. Its like I have an overwhelming fear that others might be disappointed in me. Talking myself out of this nonsense helps.
How is there hope … How is there hope when you’re on medication?
It won’t heal you, it only suppresses some feelings.
I used to suffer from a generalized anxiety disorder and now it’s gone. I was never on any sort of medication cause I refused to let my ‘mood’ depend on a pill. All I did was gain control.
I’m sorry, but I don’t think medication is the way out.
Try to battle it(in your head) not suppress it.
Buuuuttt
that’s just my opinion
