Could my anxiety attacks be causing my period to be late?
I have anxiety disorder and take meds for it but this month I’ve had multiple panic attacks. My period is 9 days late. Is my anxiety causing this?
Yes physical and emotional stress and anxiety can delay periods.

Anxiety, sickness, and possibly even medications could all have a hand in delaying periods. Some women may even skip periods entirely during times of emotional strain.
"Stress can affect many things in our lives, including our periods. Sometimes we’re so stressed out that our body decreases the amount of a hormone (GnRH), which causes us to not ovulate or menstruate."
A delayed period due to anxiety is completely normal. The best thing you can do for yourself is to try to relax as much as possible to prevent added late period stresses from delaying it further.
No worries. You’ll be okay. ;]
